We acted as consultants in a scenario where a family and its child accused the client on the front cover of a tabloid of having a product the consumption of which led to the illness and hospitalization of this daughter. Taking into consideration the nature of our client, the issue and the media we drew up a proactive strategy. This included the creation of a journalist database, drafting of press releases and editorial letters and communication consultating. The public health authority in its investigation reported that no link can be established between the health condition of the little girl and the product. As a result of the effective counter steps no other media picked up the story.
